Title: "Rooted in Wild"
This piece came to life in the hush of a quiet moment—when breath was slow, space was still, and I allowed the chaos of the day to soften at the edges. Created using concentrated Ranger inks on Yupo paper, guided by micro brushes and a steady stream of intentional breath, Rooted in Wild is an expression of sensory release. It is both an exploration and an exhale.
For me, painting with alcohol inks is more than a visual practice. It’s a form of regulation—an immersive therapy for my autistic and neurodivergent brain. The intensity of color, the way the ink moves when I breathe across it, the way no two moments can be recreated—it offers peace in unpredictability. I don’t need to mask here. I don’t need to explain. The paint accepts me fully.
The layered florals and botanical forms you see here mirror that duality: vibrant and wild, yet held. Emotional, yet soft. It is a reminder that beauty blooms not in spite of neurodivergence, but because of it.
This print is for those who feel deeply, who long for quiet in a loud world, and who seek grounding in a form that moves with them.
