Title: Brightly Becoming
This piece was created in one of those moments where energy and emotion were too big to stay quiet. Made with concentrated Ranger inks, isopropyl alcohol, micro brushes, and Yupo paper, Brightly Becoming is a visual celebration of joy, growth, and the healing process that unfolds when we finally let ourselves take up space.
The blooms are bold — pinks, oranges, purples, and yellows that twist and layer without apology. They don’t wait for permission to be seen. Neither do I—not anymore.
Living with autism and ADHD, I’ve spent much of my life softening edges, adapting to fit in, and masking to feel safe. But healing — through trauma therapy, somatic practices, EMDR, and creative expression — has given me something back: myself. My process now is a conversation between breath, color, and feeling. Each movement of ink across the page is guided by my breath — not rushed, not forced — but free to unfold in its own time.
Brightly Becoming is for the versions of ourselves that are still blooming. Still finding the light. Still learning that joy is not only allowed — it's our birthright. It’s a reminder that becoming doesn’t have to be quiet. Sometimes it’s loud, vivid, and beautifully messy.
