This piece was created through a slow, intentional process—a dance between ink, breath, and quiet. My alcohol ink paintings are born in moments where I allow the world to fade into the background. Using breathwork as both a creative tool and a grounding practice, I gently guide the inks across the surface, letting them move and blend in their own wild, organic rhythm. Every exhale gives the pigment permission to flow. Every pause is a moment of surrender.
As someone living with autism and navigating neurodivergence, this process is more than art—it's healing. The sensory immersion of watching ink bloom and expand, the repetitive stillness, the quiet in-between—it creates a safe space where I can regulate, reset, and reconnect. It's where I detach from overstimulation and expectations, and allow myself to just be.
This print, with its vibrant collisions of color and fluid, leafy movement, captures the beauty that comes from release. From letting go. From creating a world on paper that feels more like home than anything outside it.
